Directory Structure
You should have the following dirs within your "Gamebase\GBPlayer folder" :-
Here's a bit more info :-
- .\GameBase\GBPlayer\Backgrounds
- lists images for selection
- .\GameBase\GBPlayer\fonts
- place your additional true type fonts in here - they will be loaded by GBPlayer
- .\GameBase\GBPlayer\"GameBase Amiga"
- TEMPLATE.master
INI file giving native screen shot resolutions. Used when "creating a new profile"
- "GameBase Amiga-*.cfg"
Ini files holding config info for colors, fonts etc.
NOTE - the cfg files need to have the same prefix as the gamebases database name.
- The web-lookup plugins/dll's also live in here
- .\GameBase\GBPlayer\gbplayer.cfg
- Ini file which maps the "default profile" to a given database.
- .\GameBase\GBPlayer\GBPDefaultProfile.cfg
- Ini file which contains details of the "default" profile
Note - the database names within this folder MUST match with the names inside your gamebase folder. Eg, if you have renamed your GBST v3.1d (and GBST v3.1d.mdb) with the Gamebase dir, to "Atari ST" - then you'll need to make the same rename within the GBPlayer folder as well. See the bold note above - about the cfg's needing the same database name prefix!
